The Bolognese sauce is made from 47% beef braised with vegetables, herbs, tomato pulp, red wine, and extra virgin olive oil, then layered with smooth béchamel sauce and finished with a topping of Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. In keeping with authentic Italian style, it is not overly saucy, allowing the pasta and beef to shine.
