The Pomodorini del Piennolo del Vesuvio are among the most treasured tomatoes of Italy, grown on the fertile volcanic slopes surrounding Mount Vesuvius. Recognised for their PDO status, these small vine tomatoes are prized for their thick skin, firm flesh, and distinctive sweet–tart flavor that intensifies during cooking.
