This French asinthe was firstly created in 1805 and it later became one of the most popular spirits in Parisian cafes and bars. From the distillation of star anise with aromatic herbs and plants, musk and herbaceous tasting notes are predominant.
Pernod contains no artificial dyes or sugar. Best served by itself with ice. It can also be an excellent base for cocktails.
